Summary
Commissioners heard updates on park playground equipment distributions, a tax-sale summary, upcoming fire graduation and recruit classes, and scheduled workshops and committee reconvenings; several follow-up items were assigned to staff.
Beyond major agenda items, staff reported that playground equipment purchased from Susan King Taylor has been retrieved and that park improvements will begin in selected locations. County staff also noted a $20,000 reimbursement check related to hurricane response and reminded commissioners of a Fire Services graduation and new recruit class dates.
The board instructed staff to send dates for an annual commissioners workshop and to reconvene a subdivisions committee with engineers and stakeholders. Commissioners closed the meeting with holiday remarks and adjourned.
