Administrators and board members discussed funding and noted that many special‑education programs are supported by Act 18 county funds. They said that Act 18 and other offsetting funds reduced the district’s out‑of‑pocket recurring costs to a small amount for the pilot classrooms. Motion 55 to award the contract was supported and carried.
