Board reappoints multiple members and proclaims 30th anniversary of Heritage Days

Chairman Michelle Morgan signed the proclamation and invited volunteers forward for a group photo.
The board also approved a slate of reappointments and appointments by recorded vote (all 7‑0), including: a reappointment to the Corridor Joint Development Authority (Jeff Matthews’ appointee); reappointments of Cora Reese and Catherine Huckaby to the Board of Elections; reappointment of Jim Swinson to the Board of Tax Assessors; reappointment of Bart Smith to the Civil Service Board; district appointments of Trey Wiley (District 2), Bobby Holcomb (District 3) and Amanda Greenwood Smith (District 4) to the Water Authority; reappointments of Michael Johnson (mayor of Temple) and Arnie Reynolds to the 3 Rivers Regional Commission; and appointment of Preston Hendricks to the Agricultural Advisory Committee (District 5).
Each motion passed on a 7‑0 vote.
