The Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Crowley approved a slate of permits, contract payments and a surplus resolution at their Dec. 9 meeting.
Council members voted to approve three Class A retail beer and liquor permit applications that did not go through committee review: El Dorado Mexican Restaurant, ConFit Catering LLC and RJ Chavez Incorporated (operating as La Roomba). The approvals followed a Public Safety Committee recommendation; Alderman Core/Coore moved and council carried the motions on voice vote with Alderman Sammy Reggie recorded as recused from related committee votes.
