Germantown, Wis. — At its Dec. 8 meeting the Plan Commission approved several additional land‑use and administrative items:
• Sutton Farm PDD amendment and preliminary plat: Staff recommended and the commission approved minor technical changes (shift the Lannon Road access point north ~200 feet for sight‑distance reasons, adjust a sanitary sewer easement and increase open space by ~0.8 acres). The commission found the changes minor and approved the amendments so the village board may consider them without an additional public hearing.
• Furlong Industrial Systems sign permit: The commission approved a proposed wall sign on McCormick Drive as submitted; staff had no objections.
• Village Center community engagement consultant: Staff reviewed five proposals for a community engagement program to inform redevelopment in the Village Center. After scoring cost, personnel and approach, the commission recommended SRF Consulting to the village board; commissioners noted SRF’s lower cost and adequate staffing while acknowledging Graef/Devore’s local presence and relevant experience.
Each approval carried with the standard conditions noted in staff packets and with follow‑up steps for staff or applicants as required.
