Residents raise petition to ban large-scale lithium battery storage; planning board to craft zoning language

Speaker 2 said the planning board was "very interested in working and writing it right the first time and making it part of the zoning bylaws." Board members discussed seeking model language from neighboring communities and noted possible legal review and costs associated with drafting zoning language.
No formal vote was taken by the Board of Health; the planning board will handle drafting and public outreach on zoning changes.
