Public hearing on Road 27248 (wetland crossing, septic buffer) reopened and continued to next meeting

The Town of Templeton Conservation Commission reopened a public hearing on Road 27248 regarding a proposed driver crossing of a wetland and installation of a septic system within the wetland buffer.

Staff noted “there is no new information to provide and no representation present.” After reopening the hearing by motion and roll-call vote, the commission made and seconded a motion to continue the public hearing to the next commission meeting; the motion carried by voice vote with Commissioners Christophe, Joanne, George and Dave voting in favor.

Because the applicant or representative was not present and staff reported no new materials, the commission continued the hearing rather than take further evidence. The item was deferred to the commission’s next meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2026 at 06:30 PM, when the public hearing will resume if new information or representation is available.
