The Templeton Select Board moved to accept a $200 donation from Paul and Christine Casey for the Templeton Senior Center; the motion passed by roll call.

The board then heard Jim Russo and Eagle Scout candidate Alex Jeluniewski present project ideas. Alex proposed (1) expanded shelving and reorganization for the town food pantry, (2) additional indoor and outdoor pens and maintenance at the animal shelter, and (3) placarding and seating improvements at the concrete strips near the fire station. Board members and staff encouraged Alex to choose the project with the most lasting benefit; the food-pantry shelving idea drew particular support from members and other residents who reported pantry overflow during recent drives.

On a separate agenda item the board considered annual license renewals (liquor, automatic amusement, live entertainment, Class 2 and Class 3). The board approved the renewals as presented on roll call; the transcript records one 'no' vote by a board member during the license roll call.

No formal action was taken on the Eagle Scout project at this meeting; board members offered contacts and asked the candidate to follow up with department staff.
