Members suggested hiring additional temporary staff (or reimbursable positions) to handle increased phone and permit workload and urged early, proactive outreach to property owners; staff said they will develop agreements with applicants that recover the village’s direct costs and will return permits and contract language to the committee and, as needed, the village board.
