Valentine also presented work under a community‑schools grant led by site coordinator Cecilia Martinez, including five active parenting workshops (in English and Spanish) and the school’s first "Million Male Figures March," which drew about 45 men to support students. She introduced music program student Bridal Silva Flores, who performed a short selection and was noted for learning flute entirely through the school music program.
Trustees expressed appreciation for the programs and community engagement; questions included the winter concert time and interest in continued family outreach.
