The Springfield‑Sangamon County regional planning staff recommended approval and the planning and zoning commission endorsed that recommendation. The council voted to accept the commission—s recommendation; the chair announced the motion passed 9–0.
Docket 2025-045 (701 South Dirksen Parkway) from JJ9 Properties LLC sought several conditional permitted uses in an I-1 district for adult‑use cannabis craft growers, infusers and transporting or processing organizations.
