She proposed a reservation platform (approximately $30/month) that would allow users to upload proof of insurance and a driver’s license, take a refundable deposit and automate bookings. Estimated replacement cost for all tables and chairs was $6,549; replacement or cart upgrades were options under consideration, and a pressure‑wash/cleaning day was proposed as an immediate step.
Commissioners discussed keeping the resource accessible to county residents while introducing accountability measures (inspection on return, possible refundable deposit similar to Sherman County’s $200 model). The court agreed to proceed with pressure‑washing, cart purchases or modifications, and establishing a reservation system and an admin role to manage bookings and enforcement; staff will trial changes with the Condon trailer before applying them to the Arlington trailer.
Next steps: staff will coordinate cleaning with road‑department resources or volunteers, implement the online booking system and develop a short agreement that may require proof of insurance and a refundable deposit for non‑county users.
