The board authorized an RFP for renovation of the county Water Lab with proposals to be submitted electronically via OpenGov and described proposed cabinetry, sinks and chemical‑resistant countertops in the project scope.
Public Works presented an updated organizational chart to comply with County Road Administration Board and WAC standards and the board approved that revision. Staff also presented a resolution to ratify an agreement between Lewis County 911 Communications and Medex Ambulance Service for emergency dispatch services (Resolution 25‑356). The board approved a collective bargaining agreement with the Lewis County Deputies Guild effective Dec. 1, 2025 through Dec. 31, 2027, and a contract with Columbia Policy Advisors LLC for 2026 lobbying services.
Rita Lester, clerk of the board, presented a resolution establishing the 2026 chair and vice chair, naming Commissioner Pollock as chair and Commissioner Bremer as vice chair; the board approved the deliberation items 3-0. The meeting record shows no public testimony on these items.
