Historic Preservation Commission elects Miss Fritz vice chair after Stewart resignation

The City of Prattville Historic Preservation Commission elected Miss Fritz as vice chair on Oct. 23 following the resignation of Taylor Stewart.
Chair announced Stewart had resigned because she relocated to Birmingham and described Stewart as the commission’s window, door and old-wood expert. Commissioners nominated Miss Fritz for the vice-chair vacancy; Fritz said she was "ready, willing and able." The commission voted unanimously to elect Fritz to the post.
The chair thanked Stewart publicly for her years of service and noted the vice chair role will primarily cover occasions when the chair is absent. No further nominations were recorded.
