Applicant Daniel Pinkham said an indoor court needs clearance beyond the court footprint and that a smaller building (around 2,400 sq ft) might be workable for his needs; he offered to work with neighbors and staff to adjust size or location.
Commissioners discussed options including moving the building closer to the main house, adding evergreen screening, and revising square footage to match precedents for ARC parcels. To give the applicant time to prepare revised materials, the commission postponed the item to the January 19, 2026 planning-commission meeting; staff will advise on what would bring the proposal into alignment with recent ARC approvals and will help the applicant scope screening and siting.
