City staff outlined an outreach plan modeled on recent projects that will include door‑to‑door notifications, social media, website updates and a new texting tool the city will deploy (Text My Gov) to reach residents within narrowly defined areas.
What happens next: Staff will finalize the notice to proceed, hold a pre‑job meeting with the contractor, and initiate resident outreach. The contract authorization was approved by the commission.
