Scottsdale Arts reports record attendance for Canal Convergence, 50th season events

He described facility improvements and a 50th anniversary season with sold-out performances and noted the organization—s work on a 10-year public art plan that will be brought to the council early next year.
Wastermann also reported progress toward a renewed contract with the city and highlighted private partnerships and grant-supported events including a commissioned dance work and major festival collaborations. Council congratulated Scottsdale Arts on awards and successful events and expressed appreciation for the organization—s contributions to tourism and community culture.
