The Greenwood Board of Zoning Appeals on Dec. 8, 2025, handled a consent slate of routine items and adopted written findings of fact for multiple petitions, each by unanimous vote.
The board approved minutes from the Nov. 24, 2025 meeting and then moved through findings and final actions on three petitions: BZA2025-034 (petitioner Sonia Saleem on behalf of High Point Lodging for a property on the 200 block west side of Commerce Parkway West Drive), BZA2025-038 (petitioner Jerry Shamali on behalf of a Christian church for property at 2578 Dodd Road) and BZA2025-041 (petitioner Crystal Whitehead on behalf of Valley Vista for property at 898 East Main). For each petition a board member moved to adopt the written findings of fact and to incorporate submitted evidence into the record; each motion carried 5-0.
The board also voted to admit into the record notices, maps, photographs, the petitioner’s application, staff report, certified copies of the Unified Development Ordinance and comprehensive plan, testimony and all exhibits related to the Greenwood Place petition (BZA2025-042) prior to that hearing. Where individual motions were recorded, the transcript lists movers and seconders for reference; vote tallies were recorded as unanimous for the actions taken.
No public opposition or requests for continuance were recorded on these consent items during the meeting.
