Circuitwide probation staff report November caseloads, fee collections and county bills

Unidentified Speaker 1 opened the meeting and turned to Susan, who presented the circuit’s November statistics and financials. "For LaSalle County, we've got 95 active and 7 administrative cases," Susan reported, and she listed Bureau and Grundy juvenile totals before saying the circuit juvenile caseload totaled 131 with 9 administrative cases and 140 youth on juvenile probation.
Susan then summarized adult caseloads and fee collections: "For adult active caseload for LaSalle, we've got 491," she said, and reported county administrative caseloads and a circuit total of 765 active adult cases, 513 administrative cases, and 1,278 people on probation. She gave line-item probation fee figures by county and year-to-date collection totals.
On county bills, Susan characterized LaSalle County charges as "usual and customary" (mileage, travel, cell phone, training) totaling $3,658.76; Grundy County bills totaled $5,820.48 and included vehicle maintenance and two new laptops; Bureau County bills were $400.65. Susan also noted two juveniles remain in residential placement and that the Bureau County "aid to dependent children" account balance stood at $239,082.09.
Unidentified Speaker 1 presented AOIC fair-share reimbursement figures and the September reimbursement that arrived in November. The chair said the total salaries claimed were $85,009.76 and the total amount reimbursed was $85,149.26, with county shares itemized. "There'll be checks going out for that," Unidentified Speaker 1 said.
After review, the body moved, seconded and approved a motion to accept the department reports and then approved a motion to accept the bills for payment by voice vote. The meeting record lists no roll-call tallies and indicates the motions carried with 'Aye' votes and no opposition.
The next meeting was set for Jan. 14 at 10 a.m.
