At its Dec. 9 meeting the Brazos County Commissioners Court approved a slate of routine and project items including a tax‑exempt financing resolution for Brazos Christian School, an interlocal agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation to build a pedestrian overpass, establishment of an Investment Advisory Committee, award of a road‑sign bid to Vulcan Incorporated, and an Oracle Fusion Cloud testing agreement for $80,000.
The court also approved permits for water‑line and fiber work from Welborn Special Utility District, Frontier Communications and Comcast in multiple precincts; accepted donations (including ballistic shields valued at $58,516.93 from Operation Safe Shield); approved budget amendments and payment of claims; and acknowledged FY25–26 budget‑to‑actual reports.
The court recessed to executive session under Texas Government Code §§551.072, 551.0725 and 551.087 for deliberations related to contracts and economic development and returned with no action announced in open session.
