Students, teachers and Native American program spotlighted at Hoke County board meeting

Students and parent liaison Christina Moore highlighted activities held during Native American Heritage Month at multiple schools (ribbon‑skirt workshops, pine‑needle workshops, a Hornets halftime performance featuring native dancers, and Lumbee Day). Student Naya Jones stressed the importance of the month as honoring Native strength and culture.
