Tipp City school board approves treasurer contract, chiller purchase and facility repairs

A staff speaker described the existing units as “running on fumes” and said the replacement would be installed in time for spring. “This will get them in place for the spring,” the staff speaker said.
Trustees approved a proposal to remove the damaged LT ball batting cage and install a new unit for $10,615. The vendor is listed in the packet as Rogan Athletics Group LLC; a separate line in the transcript references “Roman Athletic Group,” an inconsistency noted in the official record. Board discussion confirmed the purchase would be funded from the permanent improvement fund and that district staff expect to handle any in-house electrical work.
