One member suggested enforcement of fines be assigned to police rather than park staff: "I think the police officer should be the only one that will actually give out a... fine." The board asked staff to separate playground/splash‑area rules from vandalism and to include a clear statement that damages must be paid in full by responsible parents or guardians when minors are involved.
On enforcement, commissioners asked how fines would be collected and who would enforce removal when people do not comply. Staff and commissioners agreed to rework the fine table and age-related language and to circulate a revised working draft prior to the next meeting.
