Commissioner Weiss moved to fund allowable components (demolition rather than capital construction), and the board approved moving forward with those requests. The roll call initially recorded the motion as 7–0 but was later corrected to 6–0 due to one commissioner’s absence at the vote.
Next steps: staff will finalize award amounts consistent with program intent and available funding and return any necessary documentation to the board for recordation. The board’s action prioritized demolition and cleanup components over capital construction in keeping with program rules.
