He told members there had been no changes since the budget was last presented and recommended approval.
A reader recited Resolution SMPD43-1025, "A resolution of the Shelton Metropolitan Park District adopting the budget for the year ending 12/31/2026." The board noted there was no public testimony. An unidentified board member moved to approve SMPD43-1025 "as written," a second was given, and President Gutierrez called for the vote. The board approved the budget by voice vote; the transcript records the presiding officer asking for "All in favor say aye," receiving "Aye," and declaring "Motion carries." Individual roll-call votes were not recorded.
The meeting record states that the next SMPD meeting scheduled for Dec. 16 was cancelled due to lack of business. The board adjourned at approximately 5:50 p.m. No specific department assignments, program rollouts, or implementation dates for the adopted budget were discussed during the hearing.
