Human-resources staff told the council the agreement covers classifications including public works and parks employees and requested authorization for the city manager to sign the contract. The council moved and seconded approval of Resolution 1417-1125 and adopted it by voice vote.
A council member praised the agreement as reasonable and thanked staff for completing negotiations. The resolution authorizes the city manager to execute the labor contract on the city’s behalf.
