The Kossuth County Board of Supervisors opened the Dec. 23 meeting with routine procedural items: approval of the agenda and minutes, and a roll-call vote to carry motions. Supervisors reviewed EMS statistics, accepted a retirement recognition for Bill Marron, approved two handwritten claims totaling $836.50, covered construction and staffing updates from the secondary roads and engineer’s office, and noted holiday closures for county offices. The board set the next meeting for Jan. 2 and adjourned at 10:44 a.m.
