The board also approved out-of-county travel for members (item 16.1) and approved item 16.2, a building-notice/Schools of Hope extension. Superintendent Legg and board members reiterated that the extension moves the district’s reply deadline to March 1 to allow time for district planning and to await Department of Education response; members clarified that the extension is procedural and does not authorize any co‑location of programs on district property.
