The Town of Brookfield Planning Board reviewed and approved an invoice from Stratford Regional Planning Commission (SRPC) and authorized payment of SRPC invoices up to $7,500 through year-end, the board said at its Dec. 8 meeting.
Board members confirmed the $2,004.49 invoice covered October progress billing and mapping work SRPC had been performing. "That's just for the month of October," one member said during the review. After discussion the board approved the immediate invoice and then moved to authorize payment of SRPC invoices not to exceed $7,500 through the end of the year; the motion carried.
Board members said SRPC should finish the outstanding mapping work by the end of the week and that staff would circulate finished materials. The board also noted the overall contract is up to $7,500 for the work described and asked staff to confirm final amounts before processing payments.
The board instructed staff to proceed so long as invoices stayed under the $7,500 cap and to return any questions to the board for review.
