Summary
Superintendent Dr. Gibbs told the board the district will begin rolling out the Panorama Education data‑integration system Dec. 15 and continue implementation through February 2026 as part of strategic‑plan work informed by parents, staff and community partners.
Superintendent Doctor Gibbs told the board on Dec. 10 that the district is entering a pivotal phase of work on its strategic plan and will begin rolling out Panorama Education, a data‑integration system, on Dec. 15 with implementation continuing through February 2026.
"As we complete this phase, Panorama will become a core part of our improvement phase, planning, as well as reinforcing our commitment to data driven decisions and student success," Gibbs said, describing training of staff and planned stakeholder sessions. Gibbs credited a steering committee of parents, staff and community members and partners at the K‑12 Coalition and Jefferson Educational Society for informing the process.
Gibbs also highlighted student achievements and community engagement, noting Erie High’s win in a "coolest school" contest and the district’s Bravo awards as examples of student and staff accomplishment.
The rollout timeline and training plan were presented as part of an effort to use performance and engagement data to guide instruction and improvement work; staff will conduct in‑person training and work with stakeholder groups as the system goes live.
No vote was required on the Panorama rollout itself, but the superintendent's report that included the update was approved by the board.
