The Forest Lake Area School Board voted Dec. 4 to accept the district’s 2024–25 financial audit, which the finance department reported came back with an unmodified opinion and no findings.
Director Amber Guyde told the board the district engaged LB Carlson to perform the audit and that the auditor (Jackie) delivered "an unmodified opinion," the highest standard for an audit, with no findings over internal controls or violations of Minnesota statutes. Finance recommended acceptance of the audit.
Board members thanked Guyde and the finance team for their work. Following a motion and second, the board approved acceptance of the audit by roll-call vote.
