Authorize mayor to sign Kootenai County FY2026 law‑enforcement contract — Outcome: approved (Yes: Council member Dupree; Yes: Council member Schafer; No: Council president Rotor; one member absent). Council authorized the mayor to sign the county’s revised contract and directed staff to define monthly time‑in‑city reports to be delivered by the county and to monitor county reporting over the coming months.

Approve 2026 meeting calendar resolution — Outcome: approved by roll call (unanimous among members present).

Approve Madison Ranch phased subdivision preliminary‑plat extension (J2002‑0600) — Outcome: approved; council granted a one‑year extension to Dec. 31, 2026 for the first plat, citing phasing and sewer‑basin issues. Motion and second were made and approved by roll call.

Consent calendar (minutes, contracts for Lake City Figure Skating and Alta Dance Academy, Simcoe construction change order No. 8 for H6 lift station, commission reappointments and bills) — Outcome: approved by roll call.

The council also added a future agenda item directing staff to work with the sheriff/county to define the monthly deputy time reports requested for FY2026.
