The Humboldt County Planning Commission approved a seven-item consent agenda on a single voice vote Tuesday, moving forward with routine project actions and a supplemental clarification to the Gatlin Conditional Use Permit.

The consent agenda, read aloud by the chair, included: the action summaries from Oct. 16 and Nov. 6; a continuance of the Southern Humboldt Ranch LLC conditional use permit to a date uncertain; the Ramage Minor Subdivision and Coastal Development Permit Extension (Trinidad area); the Gatlin Conditional Use Permit (Eddersburg area), for which staff presented a supplemental clarifying the approved project description; the Drury Pit surface mining permit reapproval (New Harris area); and the Dyerville Bar Surface Mining Permit (Weat area).

Director Ford told the commission the supplemental for the Gatlin conditional use permit is intended to make clear that the project description is the document being approved and that the site plan and operations plan must be brought into conformance with it. Ford described the change as not substantial and recommended leaving the item on the consent calendar.

Commissioner Levy moved to approve the consent agenda; Commissioner West seconded. The chair took a voice vote and announced all in favor. The meeting record shows six commissioners present at roll call and one absent; the chair stated there were no oppositions or abstentions.

The items were approved as a group; no item was pulled for separate discussion and there were no public comments on the consent items during the meeting.

The commission then proceeded to other business and adjourned.
