The Glynn County Board of Assessors took several formal actions at its Dec. 18, 2025 meeting.
Approve minutes: The board approved minutes from its Nov. 13 meeting after a minor correction to the consent-agenda motion language was noted and circulated. An assessor moved to approve the minutes and the motion was seconded and approved; the transcript records affirmative "Aye" responses and no opposition.
2026 prebuilt mobile-home digest: Chief appraiser Ron Glisson presented the first piece of the 2026 prebuilt mobile-home digest, reporting 2,652 prebuilt mobile homes and noting an aggregate value figure included in the packet (roughly $2,029,500,000 for the 2025 digest and a change of about $40,300,000 for the '26 digest). He said the increase reflects updated base costs to better match fair-market value as of Jan. 1. The board moved, seconded and approved certification of the digest so staff can forward it to the tax commissioner’s office for billing preparation.
King & Prince correction and refund: Staff presented a personal-property correction for King & Prince Seafood Corporation under the correction authority cited in the packet (transcribed as "48 48 5 3 0 3 a"). Staff said the tax commissioner’s office agreed to extend the refund window; the board voted to approve the correction and allow the tax commissioner to process the refund.
Consent agenda: The board considered a consent agenda of four items included in the meeting packet, received no requests to pull items for separate consideration, and approved the consent agenda by voice vote.
The transcript records these actions by motion and voice vote; no detailed roll-call tallies were provided in the record.
