City manager highlights crime lab design and I‑35 bridge lighting on consent agenda

Ford also described Resolution 9‑28 as a roughly $1,590,000 contract for I‑35 bridge lighting and said an FY25‑26 operating budget amendment would be necessary to implement the project.
Mayor Mary Jim Holmes also noted a neighborhood housing project, Cypress Village on Gurley Lane, where developers were building 21 homes and had been granted an extension. Ford and the mayor praised Parks & Rec and other staff for the Wonderland holiday events and thanked volunteers and partners.
The consent agenda was moved to take up resolutions and ordinances listed in the packet; the meeting then proceeded to work session items.
