Morgan Township trustees voted Dec. 22 to approve zoning text amendments recommended by the township Zoning Commission.

Zoning Officer read the title and background for MTZ 2025-O6, which updates fencing rules and increases penalties in chapters 6 and 20 of the township zoning regulations. The text amendments had been approved by the Morgan Township Zoning Commission and reviewed by Butler County planning; trustees voted to adopt the commission’s recommendation. The board recorded the adoption as Resolution 133-2025.

Trustees clarified that minimum lot-size changes are separate and would be considered in January after review by the Butler County Planning Commission subcommittee. The resolution passed on a voice/roll-call vote.
