The Community Police Review Board voted to cancel its regular meeting scheduled for Dec. 17, 2025 and set the next regular meeting for Jan. 21, 2026. A motion to cancel was made and seconded, put to a voice vote and approved; one board member recorded a dissenting "no" on the record, saying there was not a valid reason to cancel but acknowledging the motion was carried.
Earlier in the meeting the board also handled attendance and excused-absence requests for members who could not attend; staff noted the absences met the board’s criteria and asked the board to grant excused status. The clerk called the roll at the start of the meeting and staff confirmed which members were present and which were absent.
The cancellation decision will move regular business, including planned follow-ups on OIR materials and conference takeaways, to the January meeting date the board set at the close of the session.
