Middleton, Idaho ' On Dec. 17 the Middleton City Council approved Resolution 534-25 to vacate a 10-foot public utility easement at Lot 4, Block 1 of the Boys Boise Subdivision (879 Boisek Street).
Planning staff said the small easement was a remnant from an older private sewer alignment and that Idaho Power and Intermountain Gas have advised in writing they are not using the easement and have no plans to do so. "It's a useless easement," staff said during the presentation.
A council member moved to adopt the resolution, the motion was seconded and the measure passed by voice vote. The city attorney and public-works staff will record the resolution and update property records as required.
