Committee honors pickleball volunteers and recognizes departing Parks & Rec coordinator

Volunteers came forward to accept recognition, and one representative said, "I just like to say thank you for recognizing the hard work that everybody's put into this." The committee took a group photograph and thanked volunteers for ongoing support of recreation programming.
The committee also honored Nikki Anderson for five years with the parks department and seven years supporting programming at Wenzel Family Plaza. The chair read a tribute describing Anderson’s role coordinating concerts, festivals, and community events and presented a plaque of appreciation.
Both recognitions were recorded without objection and reflect ongoing partnerships between city staff and community volunteers.
