Arnett, president of the Monongalia County Commission" to sign the contract and related federal assurances and certifications. Staff also presented requests for reimbursements: a community corrections grant ($20,145.87), multiple Governor's Highway Safety Program reimbursements for safe‑communities and impaired driving (amounts of $220.04, $785.55 and $1,592.74 for different periods), and a VOCA reimbursement for $8,181.17. Commissioners moved and approved requests for the president to sign the reimbursements.
The VOCA award and the reimbursements require federal standard assurances, disclosure of lobbying activities and compliance with equal employment opportunity requirements; Colleen Coogan Grant noted those items are included in the contract packet.
