The commission considered a personnel item to adjust the city manager’s salary and award a one-time merit payment after a Dec. 10 performance review. The presenter summarized accomplishments and goals and requested a 2.5-step salary increase and a one-time 3% merit payment consistent with the city’s management compensation system.

Commissioners spoke in support of the request, citing progress on city projects and personnel decisions. The commission moved, seconded and approved the salary adjustment and merit payment by unanimous roll call.
