Commissioners flag pedestrian deaths, bike-lane debris and request street-striping review

Members also noted debris accumulating in protected bike lanes on a state highway and requested that traffic staff inspect a wide block on Lincoln and Central where a loading/parking zone intrudes into a bike lane to determine whether re-striping could safely restore both uses.
The items were presented as reports rather than formal actions; commissioners asked staff to investigate and bring findings to a future meeting.
