Post Falls — At the Dec. 18 meeting of the Post Falls Urban Renewal Agency, staff delivered a brief report on administrative matters, audit timing and a City Council action that affects agency territory.
Agency staff said the agency's auditor completed fieldwork on Dec. 15 and that a draft audit report for fiscal year 2025 is expected in early January (or by mid-January) with a final report anticipated for the Commission's February meeting.
Staff also reported that the Post Falls City Council "unanimously approved the Post Falls Technology District Plan Amendment" at its Dec. 16 meeting. Staff said a proposal to amend the agency's OPA with North Idaho Healthcare Holdings LLC to include the amended district projects is expected and that staff and Councilor Bradeson have begun discussions about that potential amendment.
Administrative notes: staff announced the agency office will be closed next week and reopen Dec. 29.
What happens next: staff will present the draft audit to the Commission when available and return with any proposed OPA amendments for North Idaho Healthcare Holdings LLC if those negotiations proceed.
