Pacifica trustees reorganize board, approve interim executive hires and appoint secretary

During reorganization, trustees took nominations and voted on board officers for the coming year. The board then moved to appoint Carissa J. Bowman, interim superintendent, as secretary to the board. A motion to appoint Bowman as secretary passed unanimously.

The agreements specify term dates through June 30, 2026, vacation and sick‑leave accrual, and benefit provisions consistent with cabinet management employees.
The board also adopted verified certificated and classified seniority lists for employees after Human Resources confirmed distribution and employee review. Trustees approved those lists by vote.
All of the employment agreements and the seniority lists were approved during the meeting by unanimous voice/hand votes.
