DeKalb approves $1.25 million contract increase to finish Malouf auditorium renovation

A project manager told commissioners that the team anticipates late January or possibly March completion due to doors and windows on back order: "I've got some doors and windows that's on back order. Hopefully, they're gonna come in by late January, but if possible, it could be pushed back another month." Commissioners asked whether the committee room alterations and annex work are included; staff said those items are expected in a later Phase 2 effort.
Commissioners approved the funding increase and requested a first-of-year update from the committee chair on project status.
