PORT HUENEME, Calif. — A joint committee of Port Hueneme City and the Oxnard Harbor District ended Nov. 19 without agreement on Community Benefit Fund (CBF) spending, after members debated competing priorities and project details.
The Oxnard Harbor District told the joint committee it would not move forward with any CBF projects "at this time," and said the contract between the agencies will determine next steps if the two sides cannot reach consensus. (Speaker 2)
