ARLINGTON, Texas — The Arlington ISD Board of Trustees unanimously ratified two administrative appointments Dec. 11 following closed session.
Trustee Mister Wilbanks moved to ratify the appointments; the motion was seconded by Mister Mike and the board voted unanimously in favor.
Alexis Palacios, introduced by the board as the district's new chief internal auditor, described 24 years of audit experience within Arlington ISD and thanked trustees for the appointment. Trustees noted Palacios's progression through audit roles from intern to interim manager and her professional certifications.
Kyle Berger, introduced as the district's new chief technology officer, said he previously served in CTO roles for Grapevine-Colleyville ISD and Duncanville ISD and holds a bachelor's degree in information systems from the University of Texas at Arlington. Berger said he looks forward to working with district staff to support teachers and families.
The appointments were ratified by unanimous vote; the board recessed briefly for photos following the recognition portion of the meeting.
