Olmsted County board adopts 2026 property tax levy and budgets

The Olmsted County Board unanimously adopted the county’s final payable 2026 property tax levy and the 2026 budgets after a staff presentation and brief discussion.
Wilfredo Roman Cadrera, identified as the county chief financial officer in the meeting, presented the levy and budget figures. He said the county levy payable for 2026 is $141,713,639 and that total governmental funds (the funds supported by the levy) amount to $365,745,900. He also noted the waste-management enterprise fund of $34,105,903, which does not consume levy dollars.
Commissioners confirmed the levy represents the same 6.8% maximum levy figure previously discussed in September. A roll-call vote was held and recorded as unanimous in favor of adopting the levy and budgets.
