A neighbor and prospective buyer, Supremus Bay (joined by his wife, Jolanda Smith Bay), spoke in favor, saying the adjustment would improve the block and reduce trespassing.
Commissioners reviewed environmental materials and found no moderate-to-large impacts, issuing a negative declaration. The commission’s recommendation to the Common Council included a special condition requiring the applicant to successfully file companion lot-alteration maps (R-25-53) at the Onondaga County Clerk’s Office within 62 days after the zoning administrator makes the approval. The motion carried by voice vote.
Next steps: the recommendation and conditions will be forwarded to the Common Council for final action; the zoning administrator cannot finalize the approval until the Common Council acts.
