Speaker 20 also highlighted extracurricular success: Rockport‑Fulton hosted its first wrestling meet (the "brawl at the bay") with more than 100 wrestlers from multiple schools, and he praised varsity athletes for academic recognition (33 of 43 varsity football players earned all‑district academic honors, and 11 seniors earned state academic recognition). The presenter said UIL realignment confirmed district classification and that local enrollment edged down by seven students since the prior snapshot.
